A core value of the Woodlander brand is its commitment to cruelty-free materials, which is something we wanted the visual identity and packaging to communicate instantly. To support this, we chose brown kraft paper cardboard for the packaging, allowing typography and design elements to stand out while reinforcing a natural, ecological feel.

A wide color palette was introduced to divide the product range into clear categories, making the system easy to navigate both on shelf and in-store. This approach strengthened brand recognition while supporting clear product communication.

The result was a youthful and modern packaging system with a strong connection to nature – designed to grow with the Woodlander brand.

The Brief

When the Woodlander brand was acquired by Motonet Oy, the visual identity needed to evolve along with its new ownership. The goal was to expand the product range beyond clothing, which meant the brand had to work across multiple touchpoints – not just small hangtags.

While the brand story and logo variations were already in place, the rest of the visual identity required a more flexible and scalable system that could support future growth.
